Fiberhome CiTRANS 600 Series are new generation metropolitan optical transport network platform which are applied to packet transport network. The design is based on MPLS-TP architecture, uses PWE3 to emulate TDM services and Ethernet services via label-switching. CiTRANS 600 series inherit high-efficiency of SDH in maintenance with easy and friendly GUI (graphical User Interface) NMS (Network Management System), and in the meanwhile support end-to-end hierarchical QoS scheduling and high-precision clock synchronization for operators and subscribers.CiTRANS 600 series cover the entire network layers where switching capacity from 4.2Gbps to 12.8Tbps. CiTRANS 600 series are applied for Carrier Ethernet applica-tions including 2G/3G/4G mobile backhaul services, leased-line services and other L2VPN services through a unified network architecture.
As a member of the CiTRANS 600 Metropolitan Optical Transport Network Platform,CiTRANS 620A is applied to metropolitan access layer which delivered 5Gbps (Unidirectional) of non-blocking forwarding with Ethernet interface (1GE at maximum) , and in addition, it provides smart ATM IMA E1 via optional sub-board adapted to differential application.
Based on 100% packet transmission architecture. Devices converge on a single platform to meet the needs of Internet transportation and metro core interconnection applications in order to cater all services.
Support PWE3 and Tunnel technology to realize Ethernet and traditional services including TDM services transmission, eliminates the cost and operational complexity that result from the deployment of single-purpose devices.
Comes with 1GigE port, which fulfills the LTE evolution requirement. It is the most compact equipment compare to other vendor’s product which falls into this category.
Plug-and-play. Automatically allocation of IP address of the devices through a boot server eases switch deployment, manual software debugging procedure and increasing efficiency in startup services.
Access Virtually. All the configuration can only be done on devices in online status, which degrades hierarchy configuration on all online and offline device and realizes intensive operation.

CiTRANS 600 series provides end-to-end QoS management which can fully meet different requirements of different services on delay, jitter, and bandwidth. It supports Diff-Serv based QoS scheduling. It implements traffic classification, marking, queue scheduling, congestion control and traffic shaping. Implementing bandwidth control of user-level multi-service, guarantee time-delay-sensitive services with high priority forwarding to provide differential services to VIPs.
MPLS-TP and Ethernet OAM. Based on hardware hierarchy monitoring, it implements fast fault detection and location, performance monitoring, and end-to-end service management.
Support protection based-on device and protection based-on Network. It provide carrier-class transmission function equivalent to SDH robustness and the recovery time less than 50ms.
Uniform Network Management provides SDH-like GUI operation.
With Advanced Traffic monitoring tools, users are able to expand network via hierarchy traffic statistics where the statistical report is based on actual traffic and alarm generated when threshold happen in both LSP and PW on UNI/NNI port. OAM performances detecting system model to build end-to-end OAM configuration, and it provides alarm-relevant to increase efficiency in fault localization
Fiberhome CiTRANS 620A can be applied to IP Radio Access Network (IPRAN), fixed broadband data access and other scenarios. The integration of packet processing, optical transmission capacity, E1, FE, GE and other interface of fixed network users, commercial network users and mobile network users not only offering abundant service types but also perfection of service management mechanism.
