Fiberhome CiTRANS 650 is a Small Flexible Optical Transport Platform (SF-OTP) which encompasses TDM, PKT and ODUk technologies. It supports unified transmission of multiple services ranging from 2Mbit/s to 100Gbit/s, unified switching of OTN/PKT/SDH services. In this way, the CiTRANS 650 flattens networks, reduces network deployment and O&M costs, and provides optimal solutions for various metro scenarios.
CiTRANS 650 using the unified VC/ODUK/Packet switching platform, the product supports multi-service access, packet switching, OTN encapsulation and mapping, and wavelength division multiplexing. In this way, CiTRANS 650 products fatten networks and are deployed in various types of scenarios.
The trend is moving from TDM to packet based network, however the high valued TDM service still existing. The SF-OTP adapts the most advanced technology that helps customers to build a network for a long term with high revenue return.
