GYFC8Y (Figure 8 Self-supporting Cable)

Aerial Optical Fiber Cable

The loose tubes are made of high modulus plastics (PBT) and filled with a water resistant filling gel. Loose tubes are stranded around the non-metallic central strength member (FRP). The cable core wrapped with a water blocking tape. This part integrated with a steel messenger is jacketed with polyethylene (PE) in a Figure-8 shape.
