AP office network project

Brief introduction

This state post department in north Africa was building a new network to connect its HQ and branch offices located in different provinces to provide a more secure and reliable intranet services for 24x7. In this pilot project, a few hundreds S4800 series GE access switches and POE switches were deloyed in the branch offices to connect the APs, IP carmeras, Labtops, PCs and information portal to an upper layer router that provides a secure pass between the central office and branch office. The S5800 were deployed to aggraged traffic from diferent remote offices, and two sets of firewall were chosen to protect its internal resources on the intranet and to protect the entire enterprise network from the internet. This pilot project were concluded about a year ago, since when the network was running smoothly and our customer was benifeted from zero downtime of the network, and nonstop of services around the clock.
