This campus network project was codeveloped by CangZhou Telecom and CangZhou College, which aimed to provide broadband services to 40k students on campus, and also to accommodate the need for internal teaching resources sharing, remote education and communication. In this project, more than three hundred S2800 and S4800 series access switches were deployed in the access layer, S5800 aggregation switches were used in library, lecture theater, and some other places where population density is sometimes very high. Terabytes routing switch S7800 the FR7600 high-end aggregation routers and FSG10000 firewalls were used to protect the entire network, and to provide large bandwidth and scalability for future growth at little extra investments.
