1. What is SD-WAN?
SD-WAN is a software defined approach to managing the Wide Area Network (WAN). By introducing SDN technology into WAN, SD-WAN creates a cloud-based service that can be used to connect enterprise networks, data centers, Internet applications, and cloud services across a wide geographic range. The typical feature of SD-WAN service is the “cloudification" of network control capability through software, supporting the opening of network capability that can be perceived by applications.
