The fiber ribbons are positioned in the loose tube. The tube is made of high modulus plastics (PBT) and filled with water resistant filling gel. The corrugated steel tape is longitudinally applied over the loose tube, and combined with a durable polyethylene (PE) sheath. Two parallel steel wires are embedded in two sides of PE sheath.
