A few days ago, FiberHome Telecom won the biddings one after another offered by China Mobile at its headquarters for its inter-provincial optical transmission networks projects 2005, becoming the principal supplier of series optical fibers and cables with proprietary IPR for its national 1st-level cable trunks. 

    In order to further perfect the distribution of its basic transmission networks, China Mobile Group has initiated the inter-provincial optical transmission network projects 2005.  On the principle of fairness, openness and justice, China Mobile’s bid evaluation expert team carried out rigorous qualification examinations, commercial bid evaluations and technical investigations of over a dozen of extremely competitive manufacturers.  On the basis of its excellent product quality, exquisite technology, perfect after-sale service and rich experience in trunk building, FiberHome Telecom came out in front in terms of the total quantity of bid-winning fibers and won the right to build Changsha-Guizhou national 1st-level cable trunk.  This has not only further verified its solid technological strength and brand superiorities in the field of optical fibers and cables, but also shown the overall approval of its fibers with proprietary IPR by the operators.

    In the past two years, FiberHome Telecom has continually made big breakthroughs in several large-scale tenders for purchasing optical fibers and cables by China Mobile Headquarters.  Only in the first half of 2005, it sold over 200,000km cabled fibers and 600,000km cables. Its various types of series cables have been applied in succession in China Mobile’s multiple national 1st-level cable trunks such as Beijing-Wuhan-Guangzhou Beijing-Jinan-Nanjing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Fujian-Guangzhou and Guangzhou-Yunnan-Guizhou-Sichuan, and also in all the provincial-level trunks and local networks in scales, and its fibers with proprietary IPR have been applied in all the provincial-level trunks in China, giving strong support to China Mobile Group in its building of the nation-wide basic transmission networks.
