SPN Enabling Smart Grid Multi Service Carrying

In addition to carrying real-time and non real-time production scheduling business and production management business, Yunnan Power Grid also includes various office services. Therefore, in order to verify the reliable transmission of multi-service bearer, such as loading real comprehensive office services, scheduling simulation services, substation simulation services, power monitoring data, network management data services, station terminal services, cloud teaching voice/video services, CBR relay protection services, congestion simulation data services, etc., with a focus on verifying multi-level slicing hard pipeline isolation and small particle business access. The results show that for grid production and office scenarios, both real-time and non real-time services, bandwidth isolation, low delay, and high reliability have reached the expected level, and the latency is significantly better than the industry requirements, providing technical and quality assurance for grid digital transformation.

CBR strengthens the high safety isolation capability of power production control During the pilot process, the introduction of the 2M CBR relay protection access solution effectively strengthened the high security isolation capability of power production control business. This solution allows relay protection equipment to be directly connected to the optical port of SPN equipment, without the need to connect to photoelectric conversion equipment. It can avoid safety hazards caused by photoelectric conversion equipment failures and segmented connection of optical fibers and cables. At the same time, it can carry out integrated control, intelligent minimalist operation and maintenance, automatically calculate routes through the SPN intelligent control platform, optimize time slots through intelligent algorithms, and accurately complete the distribution of business configuration data. Directly control the access status of relay protection equipment to the line, simplify wiring, and reduce network construction and maintenance costs; Business level overlay channel level protection, coupled with expert level fault management, enables end-to-end real-time monitoring of relay protection business. Compared to packet switching and SDH transmission methods, SPN CBR service testing indicators have significantly improved, with latency reduced from milliseconds to microseconds, and bidirectional latency difference reduced from hundreds of microseconds to less than 10 microseconds.

SPN ultra long distance ensures stable and reliable optical path

Due to Yunnan's location on the southwestern border and the distance between substations at all levels, it is an important concern for customers to ensure the normal and reliable transmission of optical circuits in the absence of relays. FiberHome makes use of preamplifier and post amplifier to flexibly match multiple types of amplifiers by modularizing and integrating amplifiers into equipment, so as to meet the transmission of optical fiber lines with different attenuation coefficients and transmission distances, and can support transmission of lines larger than 200km. In the pilot testing, long-term reliability verification was conducted between the Lincang Boshang 550kV substation and the Nansan 220kV substation (with a fiber optic distance of 170km), and the results met expectations with sufficient redundancy to meet longer transmission distances.
